An intimate rooftop wedding at XV Beacon and Mooo… in Boston, MA

Victoria and John were introduced by a former co-worker seven years ago – John asked Victoria out many times, and she kept saying no… but luckily John was persistent, and in 2015, they started dating! You can catch them at the TD Garden going to a hockey game, sitting at the bar at Stella in the North End, brunching on Sundays, or riding the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard for an oceanside getaway. John proposed at the end of 2018 and they started planning a 2020 wedding… sadly They had to postpone their wedding, their original venue permanently closed, they downsized, ALL of it. But finally, Victoria and John had a PERFECT wedding day!

Victoria got ready with her mom and sister in one of the stunning guest rooms at XV Beacon. They had their first look on the hotel rooftop overlooking the skyline, although it was unclear whether John saw the skyline at all once he saw his bride Victoria and started crying! They headed downstairs for photos in the chic and historic lobby, enjoyed congratulations from people passing on the street, and sat at the Mooo bar like they love to do. They had 11 guests – just parents, siblings, and significant others join them for a rooftop ceremony. John Sr. walked Victoria down the aisle, Victoria’s sister officiated, John cried some more, and they finally became THE GRIZZIES! The Aperol spritzes flowed during cocktail hour and so did the appetizers from Mooo (the wagyu beef dumplings were show-stoppers). As the sun set, guests headed down to Mooo’s private wine cellar that felt like it fell straight out of Italy. They enjoyed Boston’s best steaks, said a few toasts, and enjoyed a family meal together. That weekend, they sailed into the mystic and partied with their extended family and friends at The Palm restaurant, then jetted off to MEXICO for a well-deserved honeymoon! CONRGATS Mr. & Mrs. Grzelcyk!!!
