It may be a total healthcare cliche, as Katelyn says, but Patricio was a doctor at the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center and she was his nurse. Patricio kept it cool and was totally professional during their year and a half time working together, until the day she was leaving to start another job. He finally asked her for her number! Katelyn ended up making the first move to go on a date, and it was love right off the bat.
They LOVE hiking, traveling to different countries (Patricio is from Argentina!), going to performances at the New England Conservatory, and finally finishing a puzzle!
On a perfect summer Sunday, Katelyn & Patricio danced and snuggled and kissed at the base of Mount Willard in field filled with wildflowers that had serious Maria Von Trapp vibes. The hills were alive.
As mentioned before, Katelyn & Patricio are avid hikers… they went on an 18 mile overnight hike right after the shoot and one of their first dates was climbing Mt. Washington. Which was our original shoot plan, but with unpredictable weather conditions, we landed somewhere else in the White Mountains. They rolled with the punches effortlessly!
We laughed and got sweaty and socialized on the hike up, got to the top, marveled at the views, crunched on some apples, dried off, and got changed again for the EPIC PORTRAITS!!!

Oh, was that just some Beyonce wind blowing Katelyn’s dress? Why no it was assistant / boyfriend Paul! He grabbed the corner of the dress and let it drop, then I Photoshopped his arm out of the picture. TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK!!!
