“It is through living that we discover ourselves, at the same time as we discover the world around us.”
― Henri Cartier-Bresson
What a week, what a week.
Monday kicked off Larry Fink week - a crazy 48 hours of harmonica playing, bubble tea drinking, photo shooting, portfolio reviewing, city walking, yelling across the dinner table, and ridiculous 4x5 shenanigans. What an amazing(ly funny) guy, and it was such an honor to spend time with one of the most talented and well known photographers of the 20th century. He guest lectured on Tuesday at MassArt - if you don't know who he is, take a trip to the library or read about him here!
The rest of the week was 4x5 shooting and printing, and I walked to Chatime every single day. Every day... that's the curse of warm weather. The usual adventures out and about in Boston, with my favorite people, and then I took a trip to the country with Paul and had a proper photo adventure, a long overdue one. It was a much needed relaxing weekend, full of Lush baths and naps and coconut popsicles. Which, I urge everyone to go to the supermarket and buy. Right now.
Very motivated to start shooting digital again this week -- flowers bloomed, grass is working its way back.... let's go.
