Kelly & Joey: bubbly, believers in magic, and head over heels in love. They met on Nantucket through friends, started dating, bought an old house to completely remodel, and are even proud puppy parents! They're ready to party at their wedding next fall, and I'm so exited to be joining them! They certainly made some fall magic out in the countryside on their engagement shoot <3
"True love doesn't happen right away; it's an ever-growing process. It develops after you've gone through many ups and downs, when you've suffered together, cried together, laughed together."
Almost a decade ago, Patrick showed up to Porter Belly’s bar adorned in a giant fake-gold dollar-sign pendant necklace and matching three-finger dollar sign ring. Not to be outdone, Dawn was wearing a maroon t-shirt with the words “Buy me a beer” painstakingly ironed on the back of it. So Patrick followed the directions, bought Dawn a beer, and the rest, as they say, is history.
After countless Date Night Fridays, walks around the neighborhood, Sunday mornings singing at Church, and family outings with Patrick’s boys, Patrick returned to the scene of the crime years later to surprise her with a diamond ring.
On their November wedding day, the sun was shining, the breeze was kicking up the colored leaves, and excitement was in the air. They hand picked every element of their ceremony mass at their local parish, sealing their love with a kiss many times. Patrick & Dawn kissed in the last hour of beautiful winter light as the wind and sun kissed them back. His sons were his best men, and before dinner, his youngest son gave toast. Yes, a nice, browned piece of toast. Best. Ever.
Two two danced their behinds off at the reception, laughed with all their family and friends, and cried a bit, to. Here’s to years and years of happiness and love to this very special couple. Patrick & Dawn, I raise a shirley temple to you with a million hugs and all the love in the world.

A stunning June day, a beautiful bride, a groom so in love.
The terrace at the DeCordova was elegant and beautiful, with ivy running down the main building in the back and a stunning view of the lake behind them. I teared up at their vows, along with Kristin & Matt... they are so in love, and I laughed listening to the officiant tell the story of how they met and fell in love. One amazing kiss, and the two were happily now husband and wife, finally!
Then, it was KIMBALLS!!!! Being raised in Westford my whole life, Kimballs is just a staple, it runs through our veins. Best ice cream, amazing farm and grounds, driving range, mini golf, bumper boats, country store, arcade... it's been built up to a pretty impressive amusement park of sorts. The wedding party and guests hopped off a school bus in the parking lot, all changed into casual clothes - with Kristen sporting an adorable dress of course. The reception was a non-traditional one - everyone had barbecue dinner at picnic tables, played lawn games, golfed, ate ice cream drenched in hot fudge and caramel, and splashed each other on the bumper boats. No first dance, parent dances, bouquet toss. Two families having a big celebration, kicked back, relaxed, and enjoying every moment of it.
Kristin & Matt - although I am truly sorry to Matt that Lucky the Leprechaun could not marry you, I think your ceremony was beautiful, and maybe his green would be a little off from your green anyway. Your reception was a blast!!! You two are so in love, and it makes me so happy to think about the amazing years and adventures you'll have together. Keep laughing and keep eating ICE CREAM!
Thank you so much to the amazing vendors - and especially a HUGE thank you to my amazing second shooter Jenny Watts!
