A summer, blush-filled Tewksbury Country Club wedding

It's not often that you are presented with rain, sun, wind, and a rainbow on your wedding day, but Megan & Tony sure were!

Wearing her mother's earrings, Megan got ready with her sister, parents, and best friends at her childhood home. Her grandparents lived two doors down, and Megan & Tony bought their first house on the same street. Three generations all on one road! Their mailman was even a guest at the wedding. Family is paramount for Megan & Tony.

On their beautiful July Saturday, they tied the knot at St. Joseph Church in Andover in front of all their friends and family. Before the reception, the newlyweds didn't forget to stop at their home to feed the cats and take a fireball shot ;) They kicked off the party at Tewksbury Country Club and danced the night away, ending the reception with a grand rendition of Piano Man.

Thank you to all the marvelous vendors!

A whimsical summer Willowdale Estate wedding in Topsfield, MA

"You know I'll never be lonely, you're my only one and I love the things, I really love the things that you do... you're my best friend"

Kate & Ryan are one of my most loving, bubbly, thoughtful, joyful couples. They are over the moon for their pup Oliver, are health & fitness fanatics (see Kate doing push-ups at her reception below), and love hanging out together, whether it's hiking through Vermont or lounging at the beach.

I knew Kate had my sense of humor when I got her contract back in the mail. She listed her address, and under the "Groom's address" section, she wrote "Same! Living in sin ;)" I had a good laugh that day, and that was just the beginning.

On the 10th day of June, the sun was shining at a perfect 70 degrees on Willowdale Estate. Kate and her girls rocked mint green Converse Chuck Taylors, with Kate's being a blinged-out white pair with "Donovan" stitched along the back. A piece of her mother's veil was wrapped around her bouquet, which was filled with roses, peonies and lots of succulents. After laughing through a teary eyed "I do", they danced into their reception with Kate's hoisted over Ryan's shoulder, backside first to Queen's "Fat Bottomed Girls". Epic? Very. They partied the night away to almost every Queen song ever written, including their first dance. At the end of the night, a familiar tune caught the ears of the guests, and an ice cream truck pulled up with tasty frozen treats.

Wishing Kate & Ryan a happy marriage 'till the day Kate annoys Ryan into the afterlife, and they both learn how long forever really is. But, I think they know that it's pretty awesome when you're with your soulmate. XOX

Patrick & Dawn // An elegant winter wedding

"True love doesn't happen right away; it's an ever-growing process. It develops after you've gone through many ups and downs, when you've suffered together, cried together, laughed together."

Almost a decade ago, Patrick showed up to Porter Belly’s bar adorned in a giant fake-gold dollar-sign pendant necklace and matching three-finger dollar sign ring. Not to be outdone, Dawn was wearing a maroon t-shirt with the words “Buy me a beer” painstakingly ironed on the back of it.  So Patrick followed the directions, bought Dawn a beer, and the rest, as they say, is history.

After countless Date Night Fridays, walks around the neighborhood, Sunday mornings singing at Church, and family outings with Patrick’s boys, Patrick returned to the scene of the crime years later to surprise her with a diamond ring.

On their November wedding day, the sun was shining, the breeze was kicking up the colored leaves, and excitement was in the air. They hand picked every element of their ceremony mass at their local parish, sealing their love with a kiss many times. Patrick & Dawn kissed in the last hour of beautiful winter light as the wind and sun kissed them back. His sons were his best men, and before dinner, his youngest son gave toast. Yes, a nice, browned piece of toast. Best. Ever.

Two two danced their behinds off at the reception, laughed with all their family and friends, and cried a bit, to. Here’s to years and years of happiness and love to this very special couple. Patrick & Dawn, I raise a shirley temple to you with a million hugs and all the love in the world.

THANK YOU to all the vendors!
