Amanda & Florian had Good Harbor Beach all to themselves on this foggy June morning. These two are clearly beach people - they love taking trips to Cape Cod, and they’re tying the knot in Maine by the ocean. Florian is an environmental scientist from Germany, and Amanda is an incredible oil painter. They live in Cambridge together after meeting on Bumble a few years ago, and found out they go together like PB&J.
FedEx came with a very joyful surprise last week... the Summer 2017 edition of The Knot national print magazine! I ripped open the package and started flipping my way through the enormous magazine to find any image of mine - I never know what is going to be published! All of a sudden, gracing a FULL PAGE was Stephanie & John!!!! Cue the screaming. It's such an honor to be included in The Knot next to so many incredible wedding professionals! <3 Fingers crossed for more in the future.
Only a few more months until their wedding day!
Did you catch my work in the Spring 2017 issue of The Knot?
Alexsis & Keith graced the blog over at Cake & Lace today! I loved how the color scheme went perfectly with their site ;) (Do your research when submitting to wedding blogs!) Check out their stunning sunrise Crane Beach engagement shoot here!
"From the start I just knew I found the home for my heart"
From high school sweethearts at Westford Academy to college graduates from Endicott, Chelsey & Matt have grown to love each other more and more each day over the years. Best friends, lovers, partners in crime. Chelsey shared her favorite memory with Matt, the story of his proposal:
"I walked up winding stairs to our room after an incredible day at the inn we were visiting in Vermont and there was a card on the door. The card was full of loving thoughts and inside was the sticky note I wrote him 5 years ago with a bag of goldfish asking him to senior prom: “Of all the fish in the sea will you go to prom with me? Check yes / no"
Underneath this old note, that I was so shocked that he even saved, he had written, “Out of all the fish in the sea will you be my wife and marry me?" I opened the door and there he was on one knee with that amazing smile."
They're traveling to paradise for an intimate wedding in Key West in 2018 - what a perfect way to kick off their life together!
From the moment they met, Kelly & Jonathan knew there was something extra special about each other. These lovers of Italian food, cuddles, and the great outdoors took a trip to New York City in October, where Jon completely surprised Kelly by proposing in Central Park!
"It's something I replay in my mind almost every night before I go to sleep" says Kelly.
They're getting married next fall outside of Boston, and decided to bundle up in the most fashionable winter attire and adventure around the Boston Public Garden! You would never know, but it was a cool 29 degrees that day with a breeze - but these two rocked their session!
Mallory & Ryan: they love going out to eat (and don’t forget the beer), celebrating Ben & Jerry’s Scooper Bowl, taking trips to Maine & Vermont, and binge watching everything from Game of Thrones to The Office. These two have run two half marathons together, too! After dating almost 9 years, Ryan proposed at the exact spot in these photos - the Reflecting Pool underneath the Prudential Center. They’re looking forward to having all of their favorite people in the world together in one place at their Willowdale Estate wedding next summer! They rocked their engagement session - popping champagne six stories above Back Bay and dancing around the Pru.
When you think of your favorite high school sweethearts, you immediately have to think of Alexsis & Keith. As Alexsis explained, “We officially met in English class senior year. We went to prom together and then went to separate colleges that fall. Two months into school Keith called me via Skype to tell me that he loved me and wanted to be together. We have never looked back since.”
Keith popped the question at a winery in Ontario, and they have been celebrating every day.
Watching their older siblings get married has them so excited for their own wedding at Crane Estate. Alexsis & Keith knew that they might not have enough time to make it down to Crane Beach (especially in heels and tuxedos), so they opted to have their engagement session at sunrise on the beach instead. Add in some mimosas at 6:30am (sans OJ) and we called that a great morning!
A few years ago, Stephanie fell for John... no, really - she tripped over his foot.
After persistently asking for Stephanie's phone number three times afterwards, she gave him her email address - you know, just in case. They began to exchange love letters in the weeks following, and before they knew it, they were in love. As Stephanie says, "We had so much in common, yet we are still so different, from the very start. I am a very detail-oriented, Type A, future-oriented person. John is more laidback, spontaneous and always cracking me up even when I am stressed. We balance each other out." John proposed to her in a vineyard in Rhode Island in May, and they're so excited to get married!
Stephanie & John's dream engagement shoot took place at John's family's home on Cape Cod. This beach front beauty was built from the ground up in 1951 by John's grandfather - how amazing! We started with pizza, took a walk around the charming neighborhood, and then popped champagne on the beach and lit some sparklers to conclude the night. Amazing is an understatement!

After three years, Dave still makes Dani smile so wide, her cheeks get sore. These two are SO excited to be engaged - and he did it at Dani’s favorite place in the whole wide world: Walt Disney World! They’re planning on tying the knot after Dani finishes grad school. They picked a very unique location for their engagement session: the Massachusetts State House! Dave works at the gorgeous, European-looking mansion that is the State House, so he worked a little magic to let us shoot in the empty building. They rocked their session and finished at the park under the willow trees in the last lick of golden light.
