An autumn beach wedding at the Beauport Hotel in Gloucester, MA

There’s no better way to tell Kerry and Chris’s love story than through the brides own words - “A lot has happened in ten years. I made it through two college degrees and started my career. Chris finished his apprenticeship and quickly achieved great success as an electrician. We beamed with joy when new little members joined the family - we became ‘uncle’ and ‘auntie’. We cried as we had to say goodbye to loved ones along the way. We bought a house, and we learned a lot about money, responsibility and each other. Chris surprised me with our very first baby - Cooper, our rescue mutt. And we quickly learned even MORE about responsibility, money and each other!

We have sung along to more Kenny Chesney concerts than we can count. And we have shared more Kraft Mac & Cheese dinners than we’d like to admit. We made new friends and grew apart from others. We had times when we didn’t know if everything was going to work out between us. And we spent nights talking about our future together even when we were still just kids ourselves. No matter how much has changed over the last decade, one thing always seemed to remain the same.

When Chris asked me to spend the rest of our lives together, I screamed out, “FINALLY!” - but I didn’t shriek these words because I’m impatient. These words came out because somewhere deep down I knew this is what I have always waited for - this beautiful life we have built together. Not many people can understand marrying your first true love, but I’m so grateful that’s how it worked out for us.”

To Kerry + Chris - may your beautiful wedding day live in your hearts forever, may Cooper keep you laughing always, and may every sunny summer day be one spent on a boat together.

Thank you to the dream team of vendors!

A harborside wedding at the Marriott Long Wharf in Boston, MA

Boston-Marriott-Long-Wharf-Copley-Wedding-15.jpg

Lauren and Josh met six years ago at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Their first date was at Wings Over - which for anyone who doesn’t know, is famous for its delicious wings, but usually look like a basement laundry room. Romantic? Definitely not. Juicy af? Always. Josh graduated first, moving to New York after. A year later, Lauren graduated and moved to Austin. They visited each other and did long distance until they moved to Reno, NV together to both work as engineers for Tesla. Next came buying their home, and in 2018, Josh proposed on the top of Mount Rose. They’re SUPER athletic - they’ve done seven Tough Mudders! They’re big on cooking (and of course eating), with mac & cheese and burgers being at the top of the list. They have two adorable dogs, an Australian shepherd and a black lab.

On the most beautiful 65 degree, sunny day in the city, Lauren and Josh finally said, “I do” at Old South Church in Copley Square. Boston was extra special to them since they traveled across the country to get married here, so they took photos with all the T signs in Copley to the black iron chains and bollards by the harbor. Their family photos were in Columbus Park while their guests had an outdoor cocktail hour overlooking the ocean and the skyline behind them. Lauren and Josh partied the night away with their energetic guests before heading to their national park mini-moon before the big Eurotrip in January. CONGRATS!!!

A coastal Maine wedding at the historic 1774 Inn in Phippsburg

Amanda & Florian may be deeply, madly, joyfully in love with each other - but they also feel that way about the 1774 Inn in Phippsburg, Maine, where they had their dream wedding. They LOVE Maine, being outdoors, smelling the ocean, snuggling by the water - so it was pretty clear they wanted to get married there. Advised by her family not to choose somewhere TOO far north into rural Maine, the couple decided to visit the 1774 Inn. It was a freezing cold day, and they joked that all they wanted was a hot beverage by a crackling fire. When they arrived at the inn, they were greeted by the owners with hot cider and invited to come sit by the fireplace. They were smitten.

Fast forward to the perfect 75 degree Saturday in July, Amanda & Flo said I do in front of their 100 guests, who traveled from all over the world to celebrate with them. We arrived at a private beach in Phippsburg for couple portraits, and upon seeing the ocean, Amanda flung off her heels and sprinted towards the ocean, with the sand between her toes and Florian in hand, and screamed, "THIS IS WHAT I WANTED!!! THIS IS MAINE!!!"

There was not one but TWO German family singalongs, on the ukulele and the kazoo, too. Kids played with bubble wands, there were lawn games during cocktail hour, and they celebrated the end of their first dance with a rose petal toss down the steps of the barn. The night ended on an extra sweet note with TONS of homemade pie, fresh jars of jam to take home, and a beautiful cake made by the owner of the Inn (a fantastic husband and wife team, accompanied by the talented and beloved event coordinator Marianne).

A Fourth of July wedding at Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, MA

Erika & Charles met in high school over a decade ago on a double date - but not with each other. They went to separate colleges, wishing each other the occasional “Happy Birthday” on Facebook. As fate would have it, though, they met once again as classmates in grad school in Pennsylvania in 2016. They quickly became friends, and took a chance on each other - and they’re so glad they did!

Charles popped the question at Acadia National Park, and they both marvel at the fact that it took them so many miles and so many years to find each other, even though they grew up 15 minutes from each other. Erika picked out the perfect beach for their engagement photos at Crane Beach in Ipswich (peep their gorgeous sunrise photos here!) and celebrated their big day not too far away on the Fourth of July at Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, MA.

They had a perfectly sunny day complete with a wild and energetic wedding party, photos of all their world travels together, American and Korean traditions blending together seamlessly, and an ice cream sundae bar to put the cherry on top of their perfect day. Congrats #teamcherika!!!

A Popponesset Inn wedding on Cape Cod

Kelly & Dan are true New Yorkers, and very much in love with the city where they built their life together. Kelly is the master of NYC sunset skyline photos, and Dan is the head chef of their kitchen. They love taking long walks on the river, sharing drinks at the pier at happy hour, jetting off to new places (especially if they’re in Europe or involve a beach / pool) and good old Netflix marathons on their couch at home. Dan proposed underneath the Staple Street bridge in Manhattan, where they returned for their engagement photos last summer!

On a perfect 70 degree summer Friday, Kelly & Dan took happy hour to a new level with all their family and friends gathered at the Popponesset Inn in Mashpee on Cape Cod. Kelly wore her grandmother’s earrings, a new necklace from Dan, her mother’s blue sapphire ring, and borrowed a diamond bracelet from Dan’s mom. They read letters to each other back to back on the beach right before they turned around to see each other for their first look. Their ceremony was short and sweet just as they wanted it to be, then spent the night eating cupcakes (with their adorable catchphrase Mc2 on them - McDonough x McNichol), dancing with their besties, and grabbing late night bites of french fries!
