An autumn Boston City Hall wedding + tattoo session

“Simple, beautiful, honest.”

After getting engaged, Kathleen & Eric went down the traditional wedding route. They reserved a venue, began to plan all the facets of the day, and as things became more and more complicated, they realized that this just wasn’t “them.” They scrapped the entire plan and decided to get married at Boston City Hall on a beautiful October day, have their favorite artist tattoo their rings, and celebrate with drinks at a bar.

This plan was the quintessential Kat & Eric – the ones who love shopping for spooky things in Salem, drinking good beer, and walking through the woods together. They rocked a chic black wardrobe with a bouquet put together by the bride herself, accompanied by Kat’s childhood friend Amanda. The air was crisp and their love was radiant – and that’s all Kat & Eric could have ever wanted.

Venue: Boston City Hall
Dress: White House Black Market
Flowers + Donuts: Whole Foods
Tattoo artist: Darlene Dibona @ Fat Ram’s Pumpkin Tattoo
Bar: The Haven
