I had Allison scheduled as my last senior of the year - Class of 2014. She wanted fall foliage in the pictures, so we scheduled a sunrise shoot at a gorgeous location. I was so ready for it! When I woke up... the first frost of the season had come. Everything was WHITE! And they cut down the FIELD! All that tall grass was gone. It looked like a crop circle. Oh boy Lena...great job on this one! On top of that, the sun hadn't cracked out yet. So much for my sunrise estimation skills! It was pretty chilly out (on account of the frost), but she didn't mind. It actually looked kind of cool... I had never shot in the morning frost before. All of a sudden... let there be LIGHT! The sun came out, and all of a sudden, everything sparkled. The fog on the lake settled down, the sun shone in like heaven was opening up. And all the frost glittered. I tell you, I've never seen anything like it in my life. It was beyond explanation. The light for the rest of the shoot was incredible. The most beautiful senior session this year! Cheers to Allison!
